Maybe you're at an appointment with your kids and the doctor is running late. Or possibly you're sitting in the stands watching one kid play sports while the other youngster starts losing interest about five minutes in. It could be that you are on the phone with your boss, having an important discussion, or potentially you're spending hours of your afternoon ferrying youngsters to their activities-- which all seem to be many miles away from each other.
Whatever triggers the "Bored Kid Syndrome," one thing is certain-- it's always at the WORST possible time. It's in moments like these that I would wish I had something to keep my kids engaged an occupied. That's where LEGO® Videos come in. We all have smartphones and Kindles these days and keeping the kids entertained by watching LEGO® videos on them can be a lifesaver!
We all know LEGO® from our own childhoods and through our children's childhoods too. LEGO® makes the best imaginative toys that can keep your youngsters busy (and happy) for long periods of time. But sometimes it's just not feasible to carry LEGO® around-- LEGO® videos for kids can be great too.
There's an exciting new LEGO® YouTube channel that has over 500 videos from LEGO®, a name you trust, with more videos being added daily. You can create a custom playlist that's special and unique to you and your kids. And the best part? Playlists are easily made from the Official LEGO® Channel and can be accessed anywhere you go by parents and children (in the care, at an airport, waiting in line, around the house, etc.)
Here's all you have to do-- don't worry, it's easy!
Here's my LEGO video playlist. You can see all sorts of awesome LEGO® videos at YouTube.com/LEGO.
There are LEGO® videos Ninjago, Star Wars, LEGO® City, The Lord of the Rings, Hero Factory, DC Universe Super Heroes, Monster Fighters, Chima, The Hobbit and there are more being added all the time.
That means tons of fantastic content for your kids to enjoy. The best part is that LEGO® videos can cure the "Bored Kid Syndrome." That's right-- it's the antedote to that classic condition that you can feel great about.
Thank you to LEGO and Technorati for being sponsors. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Good to know! I've been using Youtube sesame street clips right now, but this will be great in another year or so!

My boys recently discovered LEGO YouTube videos as well, and they really HAVE been a huge lifesaver! I can finally make it all the way through the grocery store while my little guy is watching Ninjago videos :)
